Canadian artist Alex Colville, best known around these parts as a war artist from the Second World War, died yesterday, aged 92.
His obituary can be read here.
Colville’s war paintings and drawings were collected in 1981’s Diary of a War Artist. It is widely available. I’ll put up some more scans later in the week.
